Do Keratin Complex smoothing treatments straighten the hair?
Keratin Complex® smoothing treatments are not permanent straightening treatments. Instead, they help soften curls, smooth uneven areas and improve the overall structure of the hair.
The natural shape and movement of the hair is retained, while frizz is reduced and the hair feels smoother, shinier and more manageable.
How long does a keratin smoothing treatment last?
Longevity varies depending on the selected treatment, hair type, lifestyle and aftercare. Regular use of Keratin Complex® shampoos, conditioners and styling products can help maintain results and extend the life of the treatment.

Product Safety & Ingredients
Can I get a Keratin Complex treatment if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
As with any professional chemical hair service, we recommend that anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding consults their GP or healthcare professional before having a Keratin Complex® treatment.
Your stylist can also help advise on suitable options based on your individual circumstances.
Does Keratin Complex test on animals?
No. Keratin Complex® does not test its products or formulations on animals and does not conduct animal testing at any stage of product development.
Are Keratin Complex products gluten-free?
Keratin Complex® does not currently claim that all products are gluten-free. However, some individual products may not contain gluten.

Shipping & Delivery
How long will it take for my online order to be delivered?
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days, excluding weekends and UK bank holidays.
Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping option selected at checkout. Standard UK delivery usually takes 2–5 working days from dispatch.
Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details so you can follow its progress.
Please note that delivery times may be extended during busy periods or promotional events.
What is your online return policy?
If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date, provided items are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
To start a return, please contact us at info@keratincomplex.co.uk with your order number and reason for return. Our team will guide you through the next steps.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the returned items have been received and inspected. Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect.

Are Keratin Complex appliances covered under warranty?
Keratin Complex electrical appliances are covered by a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.
To activate your warranty, appliances must be registered within 30 days of purchase using our appliance registration form.
